For candidates
A recruiter uses Doowings Hire. What does that mean for you?
Plain answers, no legalese. The recruiter or employer you dealt with is responsible for your data; we provide the software and build it to protect you.
What the AI does — and never does
- It reads your CV so the recruiter doesn’t have to retype it, and you (or they) can correct anything.
- It helps rank how well profiles fit a role’s criteria — and shows the recruiter why, criterion by criterion.
- It drafts messages that a person reads, edits and decides to send.
- It never rejects you, moves you through a process, or contacts you on its own. A person makes every one of those decisions.
Your data
Your data is hosted in the European Union. Each recruiter or employer sets how long it’s kept — careers sites using Doowings Hire tell you the exact period before you apply. When that period ends, it is erased automatically unless you agreed to stay in a talent pool.
If a recruiter found you rather than you applying, they rely on legitimate interest and must tell you so. You can object at any time, and the objection follows you across their records.
Your rights
You can ask the recruiter or employer for a copy of your data, to correct it, to erase it, or to stop contacting you. Their tools let them do this in one click, so it shouldn’t take long.
Not sure who holds your data, or no reply? Write to us at hello@doowings.com and we’ll put you in touch with the right organisation.
