BREAKING: Attention-Lover Candidate Says He “Hates All The Attention From Recruiters”.

Two professionals engaged in a thoughtful discussion during a filmed interview, seated in a well-lit and modern office space. A camera is set up in the foreground, capturing the exchange.

BELGIUM—A senior business analyst made headlines yesterday after giving an emotional testimony about how the fact that recruiters are contacting him so much is affecting his capacity to decide whether he’s celebrity or just an IT professional.

“I was again changing my status on LinkedIn to “casually looking”, when all of a sudden I received yet another InMail from a recruiter wanting to have a call with me,” said Dries Van Den Broucke. “The reason I continuously refresh my professional profiles is for my own record, not to receive all these horrific number of messages! I hate all this attention from recruiters!”

Dries continued saying how he has gotten so used to getting calls and having so many opportunities around that he gets anxiety when two or three days go by without any new job requests.

At this point journalists started to pack their things to get going when Dries noted their lack of interest in his story. “This is the biggest problem we’re having in the first world, recruitment fatigue!”, he yelled as journalists left the room.
