BRUSSELS, BELGIUM—A large tech company under the management of Marcis Dubois, has officially implemented an eight-interview process for all internal roles. This decision has sparked internal controversies as many complain Marcis himself was hired after only two interviews and they believe his strategy will be detrimental for the business.

However, Marcis insists otherwise. “We sometimes even repeat interviews and ask candidates to take the same technical test twice, just to be sure we leave no room for doubt.”, he said proudly.

“Having a long interview process is the only way forward. Think about it! How else would we get to know who the candidates are? The name of their pets, how do they like their coffee, the color of their subconscious mind, and if we should sit them next to Susie or Omar? Just likeslow food, slow hiring is better”, said Marcis.

Many candidates had been dropping out of the hiring process as they experienced interview fatigue or received other offers from companies implementing faster recruitment processes.

“All those candidates leaving the recruitment process are disqualifying themselves before we do. They are only doing us a favor! Adios!”, he said loudly.
